FAQ
What is included in the Open In-Person Class?
Our open sessions typically run at various times throughout the week. Each session is instructor led and will provide the materials and techniques needed for each participant to create a custom pair of sneakers that are unique to their style. We post a calendar of all public events monthly and anyone is welcome to sign up. Each participant will need to bring their own sneakers to customize (please see What kind of kicks should I bring? FAQ for more details). Light refreshments and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase at our bar. If you’d like to sign up, or view upcoming sessions, please visit our online portal, and choose a session from the calendar.
If you are looking for a more personalized event, our private events are perfect for you! You will have the option to bring in food or order from one of our catering partners, choose your music and spend time with your guests while creating a truly unique experience instructed by one of our staff. What kind of kicks should I bring?
For an open in-person class, each participant will need to bring their own sneakers. Any sneaker will work just fine, but we recommend any all white leather sneaker as these tent to be easier to work with. Another options we strongly endorse is bringing in a pair of sneakers that you currently own and we can help you restore and make them like new!
For adult celebrations, corporate events and kids parties, we can collect sizes and source the sneakers for each one of your guests. This will be covered as part of the party planning process.
How long are the classes?
Classes range on an average of 3-4 hours, depending on the style chosen by each participant. This may sound like a lot of time but we find that participants get very engaged in the experience and the time goes very quickly so all the time is needed to complete your sneakers!
Do I need experience?
No! All of our sessions are beginner friendly. No experience is necessary, we will help you all along the way.
No previous experience is required … no artistic ability is required… all you need is a pair of sneakers and the desire to have fun!
Is there an age requirement to take a class?
No, our classes are open to all ages and skill levels.
